Workshop Materials
Up to 10 sheets of 8.5 x 11” paper (printer paper or mixed paper types)
1 thicker sheet for cover (cardstock recommended)
Magazines, scrap paper, stickers, and other found materials
Scissors
Tape (optional)
Markers, crayons, etc. (optional)
Glue stick
Stapler
Scrap sheet of paper to protect your table
Process

1. Pick Your Pages:
Grab up to 10 sheets of paper, including the cover. Each folded sheet makes 2 pages.

2. Fold Your Pages:
Fold each sheet and press down to make a crease. This fold will become your sketchbook’s spine.

3. Set Interior Pages Aside:
Once folded, put your interior pages aside. We’ll focus on collaging the cover first. Thickest page for the cover.

4. Collage Your Cover:
Get creative! Tear, layer, and mix magazines, stickers, scrap paper, and drawings.

5. Assemble Your Sketchbook:
Stack your folded pages inside your cover, line up the folds, and staple 2–3 times along the center fold.

6. Finish!
